Christopher Pederson

Chris Pederson, M.D., is a seasoned Diplomate of the American Board of Preventive Medicine with significant expertise in Age Management and Aesthetics Medicine. He earned his Bachelor’s degree with honors in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology from the University of Arizona in Tucson. After receiving his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Dr. Pederson completed internship training in Family Practice at the City of Faith Medical and Research Center in Tulsa where he continued on as a fellow in Preventive Medicine while simultaneously earning a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Oklahoma.

As a physician focused on health promotion, Dr. Pederson was recruited for and subsequently accepted an Associate Medical Director position with a Fortune 100 corporation in Los Angeles – Hughes Aircraft/Electronics. While providing Preventive Medicine services to the corporate workforce during the 1990s, Dr. Pederson’s health care operations team was subsequently voted as the #1 best in America. Leading up to the current time, Dr. Pederson has worked with numerous medical groups and he has also functioned in various roles for a wide spectrum of organizations including the Franciscan Health System, Cenegenics Medical Institute, Nuvo International Med Spas, ARC Health & Wellness Centers, plus Health Matrix of Summerlin.

Dr. Pederson has worked alongside top practitioners and, related to his clinical expertise, is a true professional as well as a successful mentor for patients and other health care providers alike. Currently, Dr. Pederson is the Medical Director for HealthMatrix and a national consultant in the specialty areas of Age Management and Esthetics medicine. To date he continues his passion to enlighten, educate, and treat a wide spectrum of patients in his areas of expertise with the underlying goal of optimizing the well-being of each individual person. Dr. Pederson rides his bike to work and is a true role model to his patients.

Brooke Lucas

Brooke Lucas MSPAS, PA-C, graduated cum laude from Texas A&M’s Biomedical Sciences Program in College Station, Texas. She continued to pursue her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas where she graduated with distinguished memberships in both Alpha Eta and Pi Alpha Honor Societies for academic achievement.

Brooke is a nationally certified physician assistant who is passionate about her Preventative and Anti-Aging medicine practice. She is trained in Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement, Functional Medicine, and Aesthetic injectables. She is a certified Integrative Wellness Life Coach.

Prior to specializing, Brooke spent seven years of practice in the Internal Medicine setting seeing a variety of complicated patient types. In that practice, Brooke was saddened to see many patient’s chronic illnesses degrade their quality of life over time. This realization led Brooke to investigate and later specialize in a more holistic and preventative approach to chronic illness and aging.

Brooke is passionate about educating her patients in the use of nutraceuticals and bio-identical hormones together with a healthy lifestyle to achieve an optimal whole life balance.

Throughout her career, she has maintained a ‘practice what you preach’ lifestyle by maintaining a strong dedication to fitness, nutrition, and mental well-being. In her spare time, Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband of more than two decades as well as her son and pets.

Niki Robertson

The most important thing to Niki Robertson is helping people feel strong, healthy, and confident in their daily lives. As the Fitness and Nutrition Coach at HealthMatrix, Niki prides herself in catering your fitness and nutrition program to meet your individual needs, helping you meet your wellness goals.

Her passion for the mind and body connection became a priority touring the world as a professional dancer for many years, then during her 14 years as a director of operations in the corporate world fitness still continued to be her calling. Now, she couldn’t be happier to devote herself to those seeking a healthier lifestyle.

Niki studied with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is a Certified Personal Trainer and a Certified Nutrition Coach. She also holds specializations in Cardiorespiratory Training for Fitness and Sports Performance, Speed Agility and Quickness Training, Plant Based Diets, and Mental Toughness. Niki lives and breathes the program herself, not just talking the talk but also walking the walk and she hopes you will join her on this journey to ultimate wellness.

Kris Blunt

Yoga, Meditation, Pre-natal Yoga Instructor

Kristina Michelle Blunt, affectionately called Kris, has been a mover “literally and figuratively” upon entrance into this world. Dance was the beginning of finding form without words, expressing soul through movement, in addition to exploring the curious and bewildering nature of Self. The love of dance led Kris to spectacular parts of the globe, allowed her to perform with renowned dance companies and eventually brought her to the healing practice of yoga. In 2007, Kris received her 200 Hour Teacher Training Certification through YogaWorks in New York City. Following her training, she immediately began leading a yoga warm up for the cast and crew of Broadway’s The Lion King. In 2008, she returned to YogaWorks and completed her 300 Hour training and following her training she happily taught at YogaWorks for two years.

In 2011, Kris relocated to Las Vegas, joined the teaching faculty of Sherry Goldstein’s Yoga Sanctuary for four years. In 2016 Trufusion invited Kris to teach and she currently teaches numerous classes at the Trufusion Summerlin and Blue Diamond locations.

Kris is registered with Yoga Alliance, holds additional certifications in Pre-Natal, Yin and Restorative Yoga and has more than 108 hours in Yoga Anatomy.

Angela Albuquerque

Yoga, Pilates, Zumba Instructor

Angela Albuquerque started her journey into yoga, health and wellness over 25 years ago, following her love of movement after a long career as a professional dancer, dance instructor, and choreographer. She is an accomplished and certified Yoga (E-RYT 200HR, E-RYT 500HR, YACEP), certified Zumba, Pilates instructor, dance trainer, choreographer and dancer, who brings with her more than 30 years of professional movement and fitness-based teaching experience. Angela started teaching dance, fitness for dancers, and choreographing when she was 15, graduated in 1993 with a BA in Dance and a Pilates certification from UC Irvine and went on to perform, teach, train and choreograph professionally for stage, film and TV, including CATS, Chicago, Siegfried and Roy, Disney, Princess Cruise lines, Dr. Pepper, and Fame.

Along her own journey, she decided she wanted to learn more about the medical field, injury prevention and rehab, how the body heals, movement as therapy, and an understanding of how we as human beings can create a healthier lifestyle, body and mind. She then went back to school, into the medical field, and started an over 10-year career as a certified medical language specialist (RMT, CMT) and began her own journey of healing through Yoga, meditation, nutrition and functional movement. Along her own journey of physical movement, health and wellness, yoga and meditation have helped her grow stronger, more fearless, created more joy, and have taught her to live each moment more mindfully. She decided she wanted to bring her appreciation and all that she learned, her love of movement and knowledge of the body and injuries, the understanding of what we put in and on our bodies make a difference, the teachings of a mind-body connection, the understanding of a healthy well-balanced lifestyle, and the amazing positive healing benefits of all modalities of healing and movement to Everybody and Every Body, so she ventured out into the yoga teaching world first. She received her SmartFLOW Yoga 200-hour certification in 2012 and 500-hour in 2016 with Annie Carpenter and has never looked back.

Angela is dedicated to providing a playful environment with the best possible physical and mental yoga and movement instruction for all ages, through creating a safe space, healthy alignment and visualization of the body, and finding that deep body-mind-breath connection, to help each student achieve a life of balance and wellness on and off the mat. Through her relaxed, open-hearted, authentic and joyful approach, along with her background in the medical field, she encourages everyone to stretch the barriers of what they thought possible on their mats and ultimately in their lives. She allows each individual to see themselves clearly and find their own strengths (physically and mentally), a healthier body and mindset, an authentic practice and lifestyle, and most importantly a positive outlook and belief that you can achieve any goal and have an amazing journey while getting there!
